Choosing your Domain-Name + (green) Web Hosting Provider, Email Marketing Platform and main Social Media Channel(s).

Colours, Fonts, Graphics

Creating your Corporate Design – choosing the right colours, fonts and visulas to underline your brand. Logo or Wordmark?

WEEK 5

Website Installation & Structure

Installing WordPress and your Theme.

Starting to work on incorporating  your new Corporate Design into your WordPress installation.

WEEK 6

Menu, Footer, Contact

Giving your Website a structure. We will be setting up your menu and footer as well as a way to contact you.

WEEK 7

UX – Start, Home & Landing Pages

How can you create a Start Page that leads people in the right direction? Let’s design your Start/Homepage.

WEEK 8

About and Team Pages

How to write and design About and Team pages.

WEEK 9

Other Pages & Images Display Options

Setting up the rest of your pages. Looking at the different ways you can display images on your Website (and trying it out!)

WEEK 10

Blog Page & Posts

Designing your Blog Page and Post Layouts and Creating Blog Categories.

WEEK 11

Blog Content Creation

Writing your first Blog Post(s) and optimizing them for Search Engines.

WEEK 12

Plugins

Make your website more secure and add extra functions.

WEEK 13

Legal Notes, Cookies, Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions

What are your legal responsibilities and rights as a website owner? What legal obligations do you have on Social Media? Image Rights.

WEEK 14

Creating Your First Incentive & Integrating Your Mailing List

Growing your mailing list to grow your reach. How to create an offer for people to join your mailing list. How to plan the content of your newsletter.

WEEK 15

Analytics

Matomo Analytics or Google? What tools are available and how can you use them legally and to improve your website/reach?

WEEK 16

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

What can you do optimize your website for Search Engines? We’ll be looking at onpage and offpage options and how best to use them.

WEEK 17

Your Marketing Plan

How to create consistency and be prepared. Email strategies and Social Media Posts, we will plan ahead for the whole next year!

WEEK 18

Creating Your Digital Press Kit

Who do you want to work with? Who would you like to know about you? Create your DPK to reach out to new people.

WEEK 19

Expanding Your Reach

Your own Podcast? Instagram TV? Or collaborations with other creators? We’ll talk about the options you have to reach more people and decide on the best strategie for you.

WEEK 20

How to Deal With (negative) Feedback

While most Feedback will be positive – it’s good to be prepared and have some useful strategies at hand, for both negative and positive Feedback.

Last Questions and Future Outlook

This week is open to wrap everything up, answer your questions and see what you need to shape the future and continue to Change the World.
