We are all vulnerable. We’re all trying our best – no matter what topic or task we’re working on. It is good to have friends, family & colleagues to support one, but it can also be really nice to have a book that tell’s you it’s OK.
My favourite advice from Brené Brown’s book Daring to Lead is to only take criticism from those who do something or create something themselves. It’s easy to criticize, when you’re in the safety of not-doing, but this kind of criticism also lacks the understanding and experience needed for constructive criticism.
In Daring to Lead Brown talks about how to deal with criticism, how to work well in a team, how to get to know yourself better and to admit your strengths and weaknesses.
It’s fun, it’s personal, it’s strong, and it puts a lot of thoughts into words and in order, that otherwise could easily get lost.
